I now feel I have the tools to manage some of my symptoms I have been managing myself for years.

Claire

Struggling with low energy levels I contacted Beth to ask for her advice. Beth scrutinised my current diet during a verbal consultation and also looked at my supermarket shopping lists. Beth then highlighted areas for improvement which included a user friendly nutritional plan and an extensive list of recipes which we have incorporated into our daily family meals.
I now understand and recognise when and why my energy levels drop and often look at Beth's nutritional plan to remind me of what I should be eating to improve them.
Thank you once again, I know I will recommend you to anyone I feel needs help with his or her nutrition.

Vicki

Beth talked to me in a way I can understand, it makes sense! 5/5

Weight management

When you book a consultation to lose weight we work together to create your own personal tool kit of strategies to help lose weight and keep it off. Despite the claims of many ‘diets‘ there is no perfect way to lose weight. Weight loss is complex. Helping you develop the individual tools you need, which you can access whenever you need them, is key in helping you meet your weight loss goals.

If you are underweight, or have lost weight unintentionally, then a consultation will help you understand any dietary and lifestyle causes of this.
Together we will explore your dietary intake and help you develop your own goals for improved nutrition.
If weight loss is rapid and significant (this will be assessed as part of the consultation), and you have not yet seen your GP about this, this will also be recommended.

Diabetes, Metabolic syndrome or lipid abnormalities

When you book a consultation for diabetes, metabolic syndrome or lipid abnormalities we identify your key health goals.
We work with you to develop individual dietary and lifestyle changes to help achieve these goals.

Women’s health

Consultations are available for nutritional assessment and advice for women’s health issues, including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), pre-conception advice, antenatal nutrition (pregnancy), post-natal nutrition, and the menopause.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS) and digestive health

IBS is complex, with many factors (including diet) leading to a variety of symptoms.
Thorough assessment of your symptoms, diet and lifestyle is essential so advice can be tailored to your specific case.
Dietary plans will vary, but may include first line measures or low FODMAPS diet.
A consultation may be beneficial if you do not have a diagnosed gastrointestinal disorder, but have digestive symptoms, and want to eat in a way to optimise your gut health.

Other gastrointestinal disorders

If you have a diagnosed gastrointestinal disorder, such as Coeliac disease, Crohns disease or Ulcerative Colitis a consultation can help you understand an appropriate diet for your condition.
Together we will develop a way of eating which is healthy, adequate in key nutrients, and suitable for your symptoms and medical history.

Bone health

If you have a medical condition affecting your bone health, or are taking medications that weaken your bones then you could consider a consultation for nutrition and bone health.
During the consultation we will assess your current diet and lifestyle factors and together formulate an individual bone health plan in line with any key risk factors.

Eating for optimal health & wellbeing

If you do not have a nutrition related illness, but are keen to eat for optimum health and wellbeing, then consultations can offer evidence based, personalised advice to help you meet your health aspirations.

Workplace nutrition

Optimising nutritional intake can improve the wellbeing and productivity at work.
Bethan can work with your company through bespoke workshops, working with caterers and staff to explore how to make healthy choices easier, examine eating habits and encourage participants to make changes to their diet and lifestyle choices.

Sports Nutrition

Bethan offers a first class, quality, sports nutrition service. She is a member of the sports nutrition specialist group of the British Dietetic Association, has completed additional accreditation in sports nutrition, and has lectured on Sports Nutrition MSc Modules at University of Coventry.
A sports nutrition consultation includes in-depth assessment of current diet and nutrition/performance goals. After the consultation you will receive a full report on your current intake, a personalised nutritional plan to meet your needs.
